What is New Life?

A Swedish church representing over 50 nations!

Although the majority of our members are Swedes, New Life represents more than 50 different nationalities from all corners of the world, from Albania to Zambia. Our main worship services are held in both Swedish and English.

To be able to reach out more effectively to some of the language and ethnic groups that are present in our fellowship, we have started ministries/congregations which use their native language and Swedish.

At the moment we have an Ethiopian group, a Mongolian group and a Russian group.

We have even received a prize in recognition of our work for integration from the Stockholm City County Council. Read more about it from the County Council, Dagen, and Världen Idag. Here we see our pastors John and Kjell receiving the certificate.

We believe thet everyone should have a opportunity to meet others and share their lives; to meet every week to experience social and spiritual fellowship. The cell group structure of New Life makes this possible.

A church connected to others

We belong to the denomination Interact (Evangelical Free Church of Sweden) which has a charismatic baptist tradition with its roots in the 19th century revival movements in Sweden. We often work together with other churches to serve our city.
