Pastors and Elders

 

The leaders of New Life are referred to as elders, according to biblical principles. The elders constitute the spiritual leaderhip of the church. In addition, the board is responsible for the more practical and legal aspects of leadership.

Rui, elder. Married to Nanna and has three children together: David, Nomi & Simon.

portrait_tjebbo Tjebbo is a flying Dutchman who is constantly and intensely involved in major projects involving evangelism, missions and social work. Most recently he has travelled the country to raise inovolvement for the Jesus Manifestation. portrait_Chris Chris, Elder, originally from Yorkshire, England. He has a doctorate and is aresearcher in the field of medicine.

Ike, elder. Married to Carina and they have one child. Loves to laugh and eat. Admires steadfastness, faithfulnessand and meekness. Values loyalty and willingness to serve. Is fascinated by the life in faith.

Mattias, elder. Mattias leads the praise & worship team in New Life, where he also sings and plays guitar. Currently in Göteborg to help out with the worship team.

Elders on a mission

portrait_owo Owolabi, elder. Owolabi is from Sierra Leone and is among other things known for her work against female genital mutilation. Less known is that she also holds a university degree in computing. portratt_Hasse_Persson_5_small Hasse, elder. Has a background as photographer and missionary, among other things. Has been the Managing Director of Fina Fisken Pre-school. Currently residing in Göteborg with his family and helping New Life church Göteborg
