Love God with all your mind

The Bible exhorts us to love God with all our heart, all our soul – and all our mind (Matt 22:37). The mind is important for all christians (Rom 12:2), for example when it comes to preaching and evangelism. Too often churches have regarded thinking as something unimportant. At the same time it's not uncommon too hear atheists say that christian faith is irrational. But honest questions demands honest answers (1 Peter 3:15) and if christianity is true it can take intellectual questioning. When the mind can be trained, the christian's testimony can be bolder.

What and when is it?

Every other Monday at 6:30 pm at New Life (down stairs) during the autumn Jacob Rudolfsson and Andreas Forslund will lead a workshop dealing with the classic and contemporary challenges to the Christian faith.

We'll start on Monday the 17th of January with theologian Stefan Gustavsson, the General Secretary for the Swedish Evangelical Alliance, who will speak on if the Bible is true knowledge.
