What happens?

New Life is a multicultural church that wants to be a living example of the fact that all Christians, regardless of nationality, are siblings and members of the body of Christ. That is why our services are held in both Swedish and in English. The translation is done from the stage.

Helping everyone feel at home

As our worship services and the majority of our ministries are bilingual, many foreigners and ”new Swedes” have found a home in our church. We want to see many more find their place!

Who are we?

We are a group of around 10 people that translate the services in New Life. Every Sunday one of us will translate the leader of the meeting while another will translate the preaching. We also meet during the term to encourage each other and give each other feedback.

How do I join?

We have mostly had English speaking preachers in New Life, but now the Swedish speaking preachers are increasing – we need both English to Swedish and Swedish to English translators. Some of us have studied languages, but most of us haven’t and translate out of interest and a willingness to serve.
