What is it?

As a church we support different missionaries and missionary work in Sweden and abroad - both financially and through prayer. We prioritize pioneering and church planting initiatives.

What we do?

Middle East

We are financially supporting a family working in the Middle East. They are working with social projects and also with church planting.

Tensta

Several of our members in the church live in and work with children and youth in Tensta. Every other Saturday children are invited to "Saturday Fun" and in the summer time "Summer Fun" is organized. There are also two cell groups in the area that gather every week. (need links)

Gothenburg

In February 2008, a new multi-ethnic New Life church was started in Gothenburg. Every month a team from New Life Stockholm travels to Gothenburg to visit, encourage, and support the Gothenburg team.

Youth With A Mission (YWAM)

Many of our members in church are actively involved in mission trips organized by YWAM, to places such as Uganda and Latvia.

How can I join in?

New Life offers support to short term mission trips
The New Life missions group offers a small financial scholarship to you who are members of the church and want to go on a short mission trip.

The purpose of this scholarship is to stimulate and encourage missions. We prioritize those who are unemployed. Download the application form.

Internship program

Our denomination the Evangelical Free Church (EFK) runs the internship program StepOut which targets those who are between the ages of 20-30 years. As an intern you can gain experience in missions in any country in the world where StepOut has a partner organization and a project which fits your gifts and skills.

Gifts

10 percent of the offerings given in New Life goes to the church's mission ministry.

New Lifes missions group exists to support the missionaries our church has sent out. The missions group keep in contact with our missionaries, praying for them and helping them with practical needs.
