About us

What is New Life? Most importantly, a Christian church, and as such we are part of a wider network of churches that are committed to implementing Jesus’ life and mission into our everyday lives and the life of the church.
Each local church has its own identity; in the case of New Life, the following characteristics apply:
A Young Church
New Life was founded by a handful of people in the early nineties. Today we have grown to 350 members with up to 600-700 people gathering for worship each week in our different services.
A Swedish Church With A Strong International Profile
Although the majority of our members are Swedes, New Life has a strong international and multi-cultural profile. We are more than 40 different nationalities from all corners of the world, from Albania to Zambia. Services are bilingual, Swedish - English.
A Charismatic Baptist Church
affiliated with the denomination Interact (Evangelical Free Church of Sweden) which has its roots in the Swedish 19th century revival movements.
A Cell Group Church
We believe thet everyone should have a opportunity to meet others and share their lives; too meet every week to experience social and spiritual fellowship. The cell group structure of New Life makes this possible.
Please read more in the sections to the left, and also on the What We Do page. There is even a Wikipedia article available (in Swedish).
