What to Expect at New Life church?

You’ll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you.

When you walk into the door at New Life Alvik, you will be greeted by our friendly Welcome Team. They’ll direct you to the room that we meet in. The left and right part of the room are filled with tables and chairs. We encourage people to sit around these tables and talk to each other. All you have to do from here is come as you are and find out more for yourself!

At a weekend service, you can expect:

We sing songs together as worship to God, we give our money as another way to worship God, we pray together, we talk about events that are coming up, we have a Fika break, and then one of our pastors teaches us from the Bible. We end the service with songs and a time of prayer. And, there is fun Bible teaching for your kids!!

We are a multicultural church, so you’ll meet people from all over the world. Everything in our services is translated from Swedish to English or vice versa. We also offer translation through headsets into Mongolian and Russian and sometimes Polish, French or Portuguese.

You are welcome as you are!

Everyone is invited to come as they are to New Life. Jeans and t-shirts and suits and ties are all welcome. There’s no dress code.

All first-time visitors are invited to our Guest Lounge after services for a nice sandwich and coffee, and to get to meet some of our leaders. It’s a good place to ask questions and find out more about New Life. We hope to see you soon!
