What to expect on a Sunday

When you walk in the door at New Life, you will be greeted by our friendly Welcome Team. If you’re lost or not sure what to do next, you can ask them. They’ll direct you to the room that we meet in. It’s a large room that doesn’t really look like what you might think a church should look like. The middle part of the room will be filled with tables and chairs, similar to a cafe. We encourage people to sit around these tables and talk to each other. You’ll meet some nice people.

We have two services on Sundays, 10am and 3pm. Both services last about 2 hours. We sing songs together as praise to God, we give our money as another way to praise God, we pray together, we talk about events that are coming up, we have a fika break, and then one of our pastors teaches us from the Bible. We end the service with another song and a time of prayer.

Typically there are about 400 people in the morning service and 150 in the afternoon service.

We’re a multicultural church so you’ll meet people from all over the world. Everything in our services is translated from Swedish to English or vice versa. We also offer translation through headsets into Mongolian and Russian and sometimes Polish, French or Portuguese.

Everyone is invited to come as they are to New Life. Jeans and t-shirts and suits and ties are all welcome. There’s no dress code.

All first time visitors are invited to the Guest Lounge after services to get to know some church members and have a nice sandwich and coffee. It’s a good place to ask questions and find out more about New Life. We hope to see you soon!
